Jubi-kun.

The mascot chosen by Jubilo Iwata is the prefectural bird of Shizuoka Prefecture, the black-tailed flycatcher. Despite the blue color scheme chosen for Jubi-kun, the English name is accurate as a physical description of the real bird -- slim, greyish and jay-like, with a long, prominent black tail. The term "Flycatcher", though, is a bit misleading. Farmers throughout Japan view them as a fruit poacher, and go to great lengths to drive them off lest they peck holes in just about any type of ripe fruit they can find. Nevertheless, they are very energetic birds with a loud and raucous call, making them an ideal symbol for the fans in Iwata Stadium.
