Kashima Antlers 3-2 Cerezo Osaka

Kashima Antlers were another team that went two goals down but managed the turnaround, overcoming Cerezo Osaka 3-2. Osako had a chance to open the scoring for the home team before Branquinho having a half chance for Cerezo before Kim Bo-Kyung did that after a superb creative move involving Branquinho, Kiyotake and the Korean exchanging passes before Kim shot across Sogahata for the opener. Yamaguchi almost doubled the lead when he struck the underside of the crossbar and saw the ball bounce on the line and away, before Kim did make it 2-0 just before half time. Cerezo are noted for their inconsistency and, sure enough, there was a complete turnaround in the 2nd half beginning when Dutra pulled a goal back on 57 minutes after an ineffective clearance from Kim in the Cerezo goal. Endo then had the chance to equalise before Koroko did make it 2-2, but Endo made up for his glaring miss by taking a pass from Daigo Nishi and smashing the winning goal past Kim with five minutes left on the clock.
