FC Tokyo – MF Otake out long term. FW Hirayama out at least two more weeks.
A draw and a win for FC Tokyo in J2 last season is all we have between these two teams.
Sagan Tosu (P11 W4 D5 L2 GD +4) are still unbeaten at home, but have lost two away games and, while FC Tokyo will be coming off a tiring midweek ACL match, they will also be looking to prove that they, and not Tosu are the best team to get out of J2 last season! Goalscorer Toyoda will return from suspension for Tosu, who are unbeaten in the last five games, but the last four were draws, and they have only four goals in those five! Toyoda needs to be on fire and Kiyotake could be the man to provide ammunition, or even goals himself if given the chance.
FC Tokyo (P10 W6 D0 L4) have not drawn yet in 2012, so Sagan’s run of four draws could be in danger! After a big start, the capital team faltered but have won the last two games (against Sapporo and Niigata, though – no big deal, perhaps!) after losing three in a row. While Hirayama is injured, he was not getting playing time anyway and it will be down to the likes of Ishikawa to re-ignite the Gasmen, and more experienced heads like Lucas to pull the team up after a tiring week and get that 3rd win in-a-row that would boost their confidence no end. I think they can do that! EXPECT a WIN for FC TOKYO!
