Shunsuke should tell his representative (!!??) to shut up and stop threatening to hold Celtic to ransom! Not mentioning the clubs is b#llsh#t – I DOUBT if Shunsuke had anything to with this at all, and, apparently, already his AGENT has denied all this (so what exactly is a representative, then?)…. here’s the full story from the BBC – Nakamura has a further one year contract and then an option that Celtic can pick up for more….. so this kind of talk is no help at all, and just serves to put people (and Celtic fans?) off Nakamura! Shunsuke, dump this Massonii guy NOW!

What does that star on the J.League shirts REALLY mean?
Something’s been bugging me for a LONG time…. if the J.league is “only” 15 seasons old, how come the stars on various teams’ shirts add up to MUCH more than 15? I thought that a star was added for a CHAMPIONSHIP – or that’s certainly how it SHOULD be! How come, for example, do Kashima Antlers have NINE stars on their sleeve, when they’ve only won FOUR Championships (1996, 1998, 2000, 2001)…. now even if we add the stages they won before losing the “big” game, that’s only two more (1993, 1997)….. surely they’re not so desperate to get little decorations on their shirts that they’ve added their three Nabisco Cup wins? They may as well have added three more for the times they LOST in the Nabisco Cup final!!One star for one CHAMPIONSHIP – and THAT’S ALL! That’s the aim of jsoccer.com!! Let me know your thoughts!Alan

As usual, the foreigners are taking the lion’s share of the goals, let’s hope that lack of goals from Japanese doesn’t show up when Japan’s national team takes the field in the next week or so! Is it time for Okubo to be recalled to the fold!!?
