| Fujieda Soccer Stadium is a delightful little oasis of football, located in the heart of Japan's traditional "football homeland", Shizuoka Prefecture. Its official capacity is just over 5,000, but this includes only the actual molded seats (reserved) in the main stand. However, large, grassy terraces behind the goals and along the entire back stand offer enough room for at least 15,000. |  |

Stadium AccessLike many stadiums in rural areas of Japan, Fujieda Stadium is easiest to reach by car - just a kilometer away from the Taniinaba Interchange on national Rt. 1. The nearest train station is Fujieda Station on the JR Tokaido Line. Buses to the stadium depart from the main bus stand outside the North Exit, though they are infrequent (only 8 buses a day!). Get off at the [Horinouchi-Shita] bus stop. The stadium is visible from the road, but is about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop. Taxis are much more convenient (about a 10-minute ride) |
