Former Gamba Osaka coach, and Dinamo Zagreb defender and coach, Josip Kuze, died of leukemia on Sunday, aged 60.
Before Kuze did his time at Gamba he had played for Croatia's (Yugoslavia's at that time, of course) Dinamo Zagreb almost 400 times.
He then went on to coach the club twice: from 1989 to 1991; and in 2005-2006 when the team won the league.
He came to Gamba in January 1996 to October 1997 and managed the team in close to 100 games in all competitions.
He coached JEF United for a short time in 2008, and his final season on the bench was in 2012 for Chinese club, Tianjin Teda.
Rest In Peace Josip Kuze.
